What is my IP?

Your public IP address as the internet sees it — with the country it maps to and its reverse DNS name.

What is a public IP address?

It's the address your network presents to the internet — websites see this, not your device's internal address. It usually belongs to your internet provider and can change over time.

Why does the location look slightly off?

IP geolocation maps addresses to the provider's registered city, not your street. Country is usually right; city-level accuracy varies by provider — the coordinates shown are the city's, never your exact position.

Is my IP logged?

This tool echoes your IP back to you. We apply standard rate limits to keep the tool healthy, and we don't build profiles from lookups.
